We have opportunities for experienced RMN's on our Psychiatric Intensive Care units. Part time/full time/nights available.

As an RMN you would be working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team to provide excellent bespoke care to enable our patients to fulfil their recovery goals and work towards building a bright future after discharge for all service users within your care.
Our psychiatric intensive care service specialises in the treatment of acutely unwell patients with a variety of mental health conditions that have complex presentations and potentially dual diagnoses. Our service is made up of three separate wards, 2 male only and 1 female only who work to provide personalised care to all service users in order to support them in their recovery.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Deliver prescribed care to a defined group of patients that reflect their individual needs
- Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse. This includes the evaluation and review of these plans, with the patient/Service User, on a frequent basis, that is reflective of their needs
- Accurately communicate with, observe and engage with Service Users in order to assess need and evaluate progress.
- Understand and participate in relevant quality improvement processes and clinical governance
- Provide accurate information about care in an accessible format to residents/service Users and their families
- Act as the Nurse in charge of the Ward ensuring as far as reasonable a practicable a safe environment.
- Complete notes and incident reports
- Escalate concerns appropriately regarding resident/service user well-being, incidents or staffing concerns in a timely manner
- Support new/junior/agency staff as required supporting colleagues to complete induction, and deliver person centred care to the standards required
- Ensure the requirements of the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Standards are met.
Knowledge and skills required:
- Qualified Registered Nurse with active NMC Registration.
- Knowledge of NMC standards guidelines, requests and professional practices.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality.
- Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practise.
- Excellent verbal , interpersonal and written communication skills, IT literate

Pay enhancements -
Monday to Friday 22:00PM – 6:30AM 20% of hourly rate
Saturday All Day 20% of hourly rate
Sunday All Day 50% hourly rate
Bank holidays All Day 50% hourly rate

Day shifts - 7:30am to 8pm
Night shifts - 7:30pm to 8am
