Job Advert Role Description

Priory Wellbeing Centre Oxford is located right in the heart of Oxford’s city centre, and we offer easy access to exceptional outpatient treatment for a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, stress, eating disorders and addictions, as well as a dedicated young people’s service. We are based on the top floor of a bright and airy building providing privacy and comfort to each and every one of our patients, and with flexible evening and weekend appointments available, we enable even the busiest of people to access the mental health support that they need.

Our therapy team provide the highest quality therapy within a 1:1 or group environment. Offering an out-patient service, the candidate will work alongside our team of Consultant Psychiatrists, Psychologists and Psychotherapists. A varied day of individual sessions, assessment and group work with the associated clinical notes and communications are to be expected.  Full training on our systems and policies is provided. 

 

The candidate must hold a HCPC registration and have experience in working within out-patient mental health services. They will also be skilled in formulation, assessment and intervention planning for children and young people. Experience and skills to assess and provide behavioural strategies to ADHD patients; and training in ADOS/ADI-r/Disco/3DI is desirable.

 

The successful candidate will be CBT trained and have experience in administering IQ tests.

 

Training in ADOS and/or ADI-R will be offered if not already trained.

 

At The Priory Wellbeing Centre we offer a holistic and supportive environment for both experienced and newly qualified clinicians. Staff members of all disciplines at the centre are extremely passionate and vigilant about delivering the best possible experience for the patient.

 

Regular MDT meetings and one to one support are offered to provide connection with your colleagues and support with your caseload.

 

The clinic boasts 8 consulting rooms and 1 group therapy room offering a range of outpatient services to our clients in the heart of Oxford City Centre. Our team of highly experienced therapists, psychologists and consultant psychiatrists allow us to offer a multidisciplinary approach for our clients ensuring a high standard of care. Our goal is to always treat the individual and ensure we support our clients on their personal journey.

 

We are open 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and offer blended approach to therapy treatment which includes face to face and virtual sessions. The sessions can therefore be completed over 7 day week including the evenings, hence offering full flexibility and work-life balance.
