Job Advert Role Description

Priory Healthcare Group Division are looking for a Business Manager for the North and West Region.

This is a fully remote role, will travel expected to site – Salary up to £55,000 + £4200 Car allowance

We are looking for an experience member to join our senior management team to work closely with the Managing Directors for the North and West Region. You will assist with supporting sites across a range of activities depending on their different needs – it could be helping to review their recruitment processes, supporting them with their action plan and budget objectives, helping them to prepare for a new ward opening, helping them plan the induction of new colleagues. You will also use your skills and experience to use data analysis to inform decisions and assist with process and implementation, supporting business objectives and helping embed systems and process…anything that ensures that our hospitals are performing effectively so our patients receive the highest standard of care.

 

The purpose of the role is to provide business management support to abridge the input from the Managing Directors, Regional Senior Management Teams and the hospital teams within the region. The role key to the effective working of the Senior Management Team

 

This is an exciting new opportunity that has been created, so you must be comfortable with helping to shape the role as it develops and you will use your skills and experience to overcome the ambiguity of the role as you help build it.

 

You will be a valued member of the Regional Senior Management team and have considerable interface with the Hospitals Directors and their teams.  The incumbent will liaise extensively with a variety of stakeholders across Priory Group and therefore will require a collaborative, team player approach.  This must be combined with a desire to work in a fast paced environment where improving patient outcomes through running safe and effective hospitals is paramount. 

 

You will need the following to apply,

 

  • Experience of working within an implementation role / leading project work streams
  • Understanding of operating landscape (Healthcare operations)
  • Previous experience of understanding budgets / profit and loss accounts
  • Strong data analysis skill base, turning data into recommendations and solutions
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, changing environment and demonstrable experience of managing own workload in this environment
  • Full UK driving licence & able to travel regionally
  • Thrives on new challenges & has a growth mind-set
  • Good commercial understanding
