About Us:

Priory Hospital Ticehurst House stands within 48 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens in a small village in East Sussex. The safe and supportive environment offers a comprehensive inpatient, specialist mental health service for young people and adults.

We are dedicated to providing innovative, high-quality care and treatment for patients with acute mental health needs, in order to enable their recovery and re-engagement within the community. Care is delivered in partnership with the NHS across adult acute mental health.

About the Role:

We are seeking a full time permanent Consultant Psychiatrist to work across our Acute units

Part-time and flexible working can also be considered.

You will fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients supervising the process of referral and admission including contribution to pre-admission assessments. You will fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients supervising the process of referral and admission including contribution to pre-admission assessments. The role is a pivotal element of an established multi-disciplinary team aiming to ensure that patients receive a holistic and person-centric care and treatment programme.  If you are passionate about delivering first class psychiatric care we would love to hear from you.

To join us, you must hold a CCST/CCT or equivalent in the relevant areas of psychiatry and have experience with people with significant mental health difficulties. 

You will be an excellent team player keen to participate in a multi-disciplinary approach to assessment with a keen interest in developing services within a forward thinking environment.

You will continue to hold a registration with the GMC including being on the special register for psychiatry.
