Outline of the Role:

We are recruiting an Addiction Therapist to join our Addiction Treatment Team at Priory North London. You will need to have some experience of working in the Drug & Alcohol field and an understanding of behavioural addictions. You will need to have a minimum of Post Grad Diploma or ideally have, or be working towards, an MA/Msc and demonstrate you meet the Drugs & Alcohol National Occupational Standards (DANOS) by being an FDAP member or equivalent. We also welcome applicants who are registered or working towards accreditation with BACP, UKCP, or BABCP and have specialist training and/or CPD in addiction. The successful candidate will be working as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) providing in-patient detox and rehabilitation treatment in a Psychiatric Hospital setting. 
The Addiction Therapy Team provide One to One Therapy, Group Therapy, Psycho-Education and 12 Step Interventions as part of a robust programme for in-patients, day patients and out-patients. Understanding of addiction treatment models and evidence-based therapies such as MI, CBT, DBT would also be useful.
You will be involved in delivering the Addiction Treatment group Programme and managing a case load of individual cases.
