Job Advert Role Description

The Priory Hospital Nottingham is a 14 bedded unit which provides inpatient treatment for NHS patients with acute mental health issues. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse to join our existing staff team.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, reporting to the Clinical Services Director, the primary role will be to undertake and manage direct care to patients with a variety of acute psychiatric illnesses.

The candidate will be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, and possess the ability to demonstrate sound and appropriate nursing techniques in the acute psychiatric setting.

The successful candidate will be organised with a proven track record of managing a systematic approach to care plans and the management of risk. The candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain the highest levels of quality care and professionalism possible.
