Job Overview

Working Hybrid and Reporting to the Content Marketing Manager, the role of Senior Social Media Executive will play a major part in maximising the Priory’s voice across a number of social media channels.

The post will work within the marketing team, delivering social media content that is integrated with wider marketing, communications and business development initiatives.

You’ll be taking ownership of the organic and paid social activity across core channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn – delivering outstanding content to an engaged audience in the field of mental health.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Lead all social media activity, including planning, executing and managing the organic and paid social media content plan across core social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok
  • Produce digitally-focused content that engages a thriving mental health and addictions audience
  • Proficient in producing written, graphical and (ideally) video content to a high standard
  • Maintain internal and external relationships with other teams from around the business, such as consultants and the PR team, completing requests as they are received
  • Manage a paid budget for social media campaigns, working to maximise the effectiveness of spend across channels
  • Seek out social media trends and discussion points in mental health and addiction, creating content that places Priory at the forefront of the conversation

Essential - What we would like from the role holder:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar social media role within a digital marketing team
  • A motivated self-starter who is comfortable in both team environments and working alone.
  • A social media content native, with a keen creative eye and instinctive control of new platforms and technologies
  • Strong written communication skills and command of English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A clear understanding of social media best practices
  • Ability to use social reporting and scheduling tools such as Sprout Social or similar
  • Strong verbal communication skills, speaking both externally and internally

Job Advert Role Description

Preferable:

  • Graphic design skills, utilising Canva or Adobe Photoshop, is preferable
  • Video producing and editing skills would also be a key advantage
  • Experience in the mental health industry, either in a marketing role or through education and/or practical work experience, would also be considered beneficial, but not essential.

Working Environment:

Hybrid working with at least two days in the office and occasional travel to sites.
