Based in the historic city of York, Stockton Hall Hospital is 112 bedded, medium secure hospital in the beautiful City of York. We are an independent sector hospital with the passion and commitment to achieve the best outcomes for our patients. We exclusively treat NHS patients and work closely with our NHS colleagues within the Humber and North Yorkshire Provider Collaborate as part of the local Integrated Care Board.

Due to the planned opening of new wards we are looking for a:

 

Medical Director £180,000 to work closely with the Hospital Director (registered manager) as part of the senior management team to lead in delivering excellent operational and clinical performance, which will be achieved within agreed parameters including company business plans, regulatory standards and sound clinical governance and to manage the Hospital’s medical team to deliver this. The post-holder will be responsible for managing a caseload at Stockton Hall

 

Specialist Registrar/Staff Grade Doctor: (Forensic Psychiatry, Learning Disability or General Psychiatry) Competitive salary 

For this position, you will already be fully registered with the GMC and hold a Licence to Practice

 

What you need

We are seeking a full time Consultant Psychiatrist for our medium secure learning disability and neurodevelopmental disorder service.

  • You will fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients.
  • You must hold a CCT, or equivalent, in Forensic Psychiatry, Learning Disability or General Psychiatry.
  • Meet regulatory requirements, such as GMC registration and revalidation.
  • The role will include participation in our on call rota.
