The Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal is a specialist provider of complex mental health services, providing clinical excellence in our eating disorders, adolescent, rehabilitation and PICU services.
We have a job opportunity for a catering assistant to join our on-site catering team to assist with the provision of a catering service within our Hospital.
Responsibilities of the role are below:
- Assists catering staff with both the preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with the company’s Assured Safe Catering policies and procedures.
- Under direction, takes responsibility for parts of the catering operation.
- Ensure the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards and comply with the company’s Assured Safe Catering policies and procedures.
- Amends the services to suit the needs of the site.
- Reduce the amount of waste to gain a greater value for money.
About you:
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Good organisation and time management
• Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food preparation is desirable.
