Job Advert Role Description

he Priory Hospital – Altrincham is a 56 bedded hospital and is part of the Priory Group, leading provider of specialist treatment in mental health. The hospital has an established reputation for providing the highest standards of care together with an extensive range of clinical services and is a principle provider to the NHS in the north of England, focussing on positive holistic outcomes through full service provision. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team working within our adolescent eating disorder inpatient service. 

Full time or part time available £26,500 -  £35,000 for full time

The post holder will primarily be responsible for the nutritional assessment and treatment of all eating disorders patients.  The post holder will have excellent communication skills and will be an active member of an established, committed and energetic team, participating in the ongoing development of the service and clinical governance issues.  Previous eating disorders experience is desirable as is a flexible approach to work; experience in tube feeding would also be of benefit.  The post holder may at times be required to assess adult general psychiatric patients identified as at risk of malnutrition or for other nutritional needs.    We can offer you excellent opportunities to develop and broaden your skills within group and individual settings, CPD and training that supports best practice.

Candidates must be registered as a Dietitian with HCPC and the British Dietetic Association.
