Job Advert Role Description

An exciting opportunity has risen for qualified and accredited EMDR therapist to join our bank.

 

You will be delivering 1-1 therapy to our outpatients struggling with issues surroiunding addictions. As part of an MDT you will be working alongside other therapists with a range of modalities, Consultant Psychiatrist, Ward Doctors and Nursing staff.

 

You be providing one to one addiction therapy to patients with a variety of presentations including additions around substances, alcohol, and other areas of addiction.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team of therapists providing a full and robust treatment programme.

 

You will need to have full accreditation with a relevant association such as BABCP, BACP or equivalent.

 

Priory Hospital Barnt Green is located in the stunning Lickey Hills Country Park, 10 miles south of Birmingham City Centre. We have thirty-three beds across three wards including a ten bedded female NHS Psychiatric Intensive Care, a thirteen bedded mixed gender NHS acute service, and a bedded private acute ward beds for both men and women. In addition to providing inpatient services, the hospital has a large Outpatient department and regional conference facilities.

The hospital opened in March 2022 and this is a fantastic opportunity to join a new and developing team, in a brand new hospital located in a beautiful setting.
