Job Advert Role Description

Priory Hospital Barnt Green have an exciting opportunity for a qualified CBT therapist to join their team.

You will be delivering 1-1 within our outpatient service. As part of an MDT you will be working alongside other therapists with a range of modalities, Consultant Psychiatrist, Ward Doctors and Nursing staff.

You will be providing one to one therapy to patients with a variety of presentations including depression, anxiety and trauma.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team of therapists providing a full and robust treatment programme which  includes CBT, DBT skills, Mindfulness and psychotherapy through our inpatient and daycare delivery. A background in addiction is desirable.

You will need to have full accreditation with relevant governing bodies such as HPCP, BACP, BABCP or equivalent

About Priory Barnt Green

Priory Hospital Barnt Green is located in the stunning Lickey Hills Country Park, 10 miles south of Birmingham City Centre. We have thirty-three beds across three wards including a ten bedded female NHS Psychiatric Intensive Care, a thirteen bedded mixed gender NHS acute service, and a bedded private acute ward beds for both men and women. In addition to providing inpatient services, the hospital has a large Outpatient department and regional conference facilities.

The hospital opened in March 2022 and this is a fantastic opportunity to join a new and developing team, in a brand new hospital located in a beautiful setting.
