Job Advert Role Description

Kneesworth House is a 155 bed mental health hospital situated in Cambridgeshire (on the borders of Hertfordshire) with good commuting access to / from London. The hospital has a full pathway of care including medium, low secure, locked rehabilitation and open recovery wards  situated across the site.Our Bank Support Service role involves:

Working alongside our full time support service teams which include Catering, Housekeeping and Maintenance – you will work within the department/s which suit your skills and abilities

Dependant on the department you will work within, your job may involve:

  • Undertaking housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Serving food within our ward and admin areas
  • Carrying our commercial kitchen duties including food preparation and maintaining hygiene standards
  • Escorting contractors ensuring security standards are maintained
  • Undertaking building and premises repairs

 

To be successful as a Bank Catering / Maintenance / Housekeeping, you’ll need:

  • To be punctual and able to work on your own initiative
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work with in a team and independently
  • To be able to follow instruction
  • IT competencies
  • Skills within any of these areas is desirable however full training will be given
