We have a full time position available for a Psychologist working within our CAMHS and PICU inpatient mental health services. The position is working across 1 mixed gender ward (14 beds) and a male (10 beds) adult PICU Ward. This post will support our fulltime clinical CAMHS psychologist and our part time clinical psychologist.
The candidate will be working within the multi-disciplinary team of Medical staff, Nursing staff and Occupational Therapy staff. The Psychologist will be providing evidence based psychological assessment as required, contributing to MDT care planning and review, facilitating formulation, reflective practice and debrief sessions and contributing to audit and research as directed by the line manager.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide psychological guidance and consultation to other professionals where applicable and must be able to work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team of therapists providing a full and robust treatment programme. Experience in formulations and assessing is essential with knowledge in psychometrics desired.
You will need to have full membership with relevant governing bodies such as HCPC, BPS or equivalent.
