Job Advert Role Description

We are currently looking for a Chef to join our team at Windsor House in Westgate-on-Sea! 

Windsor House has the capacity to accommodate fourteen people who have a range of diverse needs, some of which include learning disabilities, complex needs, dementia and challenging behaviour.

As part of the Support Services team, our Chefs provide a high quality service to our residents through the creation, presentation and delivery of fresh meals. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of the catering service with particular emphasis on the planning, preparation and cooking of meals.

As a Chef you will:

• Be required to prepare and cook meals for our residents each day.
• Ensure that menus and storage of food clearly explains and separates allergens.
• Follow the Priory catering guides for food monitoring and cooking to ensure compliance with EHO standards.
• You will be required to manage the department budget, order and maintain stock levels and maintain accurate records of freezer levels and food supplies.
