The applicant ideally would be based in London, Surrey or Bedfordshire.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Engagement Lead to join the team and support our growing business. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the Engagement Lead will be responsible for working with colleagues across the region to help develop engagement plans for sites that will contribute to colleague wellbeing. This role will have a focus on engagement, and support with developing a culture where speaking up is recognised and valued.
Engagement Lead duties include but are not limited to:
- Proactively engage with site based colleagues to better understand the root causes and reasons for leaving.
- Support the development of Communications Champions on sites with the Internal Communications team.
- Analyse information and data from the colleague annual survey, onboarding and exit surveys to identify engagement drivers and make recommendations to sites, Regional HR & SMTs and divisional HR.
- Promote local speaking up processes and sources of support and guidance to colleagues
- Capture lessons learnt and share with Freedom to speak up Guardian and sites, where required.
- Support sites in taking action to reduce barriers to speaking up, prioritised according to local need

What we would like from the Engagement Lead:
- Creative, positive and pragmatic problem-solver, able to articulate and champion their solutions to deliver outcomes.
- It is desirable to have previous experience of working in social care or healthcare or support environment, ideally as a care / support worker to ensure understanding of the context of colleague feedback and to translate this into realistic, deliverable recommendations.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries.
- Able to build trust and rapport with pace and authenticity
Additional Requirements:
- Must have a driving licence and access to a car
