Are you a caring and creative person who is passionate about making a real difference to someone’s life?
We are currently looking for a Bank Support Worker to provide care and support for residents at our female only mental health residential service in Worcester.
No direct personal care involved, guidance and direction only. Support to develop key life skills in a safe and secure environment whereby women flourish and move on with their lives after diagnosis.
This is a female only placement with female only staff.
Previous experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant would be beneficial, however it is not essential; all we ask is that you have a willingness to learn and the compassion to care for the people we support.
Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and/or Mental Health Act along with information relating to the national guidance would be of benefit but is not mandatory as training will be provided.
Good listening skills and a non-judgemental approach is essential.
