Job Advert Role Description
We are currently looking to grow our already established and superb team of support workers at The Lodge in Highbridge.
- Do you believe that everyone is entitled to the very best care and support, regardless of their disability or diagnosis?
- Do you want to make a lasting difference in people’s lives?
- Do you want to support people to help them achieve their goals, dreams and aspirations?
At The Lodge, we do and we are passionate about providing excellent care and support to individuals with autism, mental health needs, learning disabilities and people who engage in challenging behaviour.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact to the overall service by providing the highest standard of person centred support and care to the people who use our service, maintaining dignity and respect, enabling them to lead as independent lives as possible and realise their potential.
The role holder will ensure your own actions and behaviour and, through the effective supervision of Support Workers, the service complies with corporate policy and local procedures, statutory regulations and quality standards.
The role involves a combination of well-defined duties with ready access to senior staff, as well as situations where lone working requires flexibility, resourcefulness and immediate problem solving and decision-making.
