Job Advert Role Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly motivated and dedicated Housekeeping team on a full time permanent basis at The Priory Hospital Middleton St George.

 

The Priory Hospital Middleton St George is located close to Darlington, County Durham and provides individualised treatment and care for people with mental health needs of adult working age and who present with complex and challenging behaviours, in a safe and supportive environment. Our comprehensive integrated services offer complete care pathways allowing service users to transfer effortlessly between the most appropriate care, meeting individual needs enabling recovery and re-engagement within the community and maximising life opportunities.

 

Our multi-disciplinary teams work collaboratively with up to 101 male and female service users and their commissioners, across 7 wards and a step down community facility in Darlington town centre.  We deliver acute care, psychiatric intensive care (PICU) services, and a recovery and rehabilitation environment which includes a specialist female Personality Disorder service.  Our focus is on the delivery of excellent care, empowering service users to progress towards the least restrictive setting and towards independence

 

As a Housekeeper you will be required to deliver an efficient and high quality housekeeping service within the hospital to assist the well-being, comfort and development of our service users and staff. The successful candidate will deliver and maintain a clean and tidy working and living environment in line with operational standards and will ensure that work processes comply with statutory regulations.

 

This role will consist of working 5 days per week with occasional weekend working.
