Based in the historic city of York, Stockton Hall Hospital is 112 bedded, medium secure hospital in the beautiful City of York. We are an independent sector hospital. We exclusively treat NHS patients and work closely with our NHS colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for our patients. We work in partnership with the Humber and North Yorkshire Provider Collaborate as part of the local Integrated Care Board.

We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist (Forensic Psychiatry, Learning Disability or General Psychiatry) in the York area – £160,000

What you need

We are seeking a full time Consultant Psychiatrist for our medium secure learning disability and neurodevelopmental disorder service.

  • You will fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients.
  • You must hold a CCT, or equivalent, in Forensic Psychiatry, Learning Disability or General Psychiatry.
  • Meet regulatory requirements, such as GMC registration and revalidation.
  •  The role will include participation in our on call rota.
