Job Advert Role Description

Priory Hospital Enfield is a 53 bed hospital in the Borough of Enfield and is situated with very good transport links. The site provides services in both a forensic setting (male medium secure & low secure) and acute services (female). The hospital can cater for up to 53 patients at one time across the four wards, and the responsibility for staffing the hospital is of vital importance.

About the Role

  • Identifies and reports damage, faults and other related issues to the maintenance department to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations.
  • Making beds, emptying bins, polishing all surfaces, vacuuming carpets, washing net curtains at regular intervals, cleaning baths, sinks and toilets and all surfaces, wash bathroom floors, dusting on top of wardrobes, washing all paintwork, window ledges etc. Replacing toilet paper, soap when necessary. Replacing towels. Clearing dirty crockery.
  • Laundry: All outgoing laundry to be counted before placing in dirty linen bags and documented on forms supplied, and all incoming laundry to be counted and checked off on form.
  • Supervises a team of staff ensuring domestic and housekeeping services are delivered to operational standards, and ensures that work processes comply with statutory regulations.
