Job Advert Role Description
Mill Garth Hospital is a 21-bedded locked rehabilitation and recovery service suitable for men aged 18 years and over. The hospital focuses on active rehabilitation and recovery for those with mental illnesses and personality disorders.
We believe that anyone with a mental health condition should be given the best chance possible to lead a happy and fulfilling life, and our aim is to provide individuals with the confidence and skills to move or return to the community..
An exciting opportunity has arose at Mill Garth for a dual role; Mental Health Act Admin and Admissions and discharge co-ordinator. .
You will work closely with the Responsible Clinician and also have the support of site administraors and the wider MDT.

The role includes ensuring all Mental Act documentation is correctly completed in line with the Mental Health Code of Practice.
The role requires a candidate with previous experience of the Mental Health Act
Following a face to face induction, training will be provided in line with responsibilities and requirements.
Experience of Mental Health Act administration is essential.
GCSE's or equivalent at Grade C above in Maths and English is also required.
