Job Advert Role Description

Priory Hospital Bristol is part of the Healthcare Division of Priory Group and has 77 beds over 7 wards varying from Eating Disorders, Acute Mental Health, Adult Psychiatric Intensive Care, Acquired Brain Injury, Huntingdon’s and Dementia.

Priory is dedicated to helping people to improve their health and wellbeing. We understand that in order for people to achieve high quality clinical and educational outcomes they need individually tailored programmes, suiting their specific needs.  Our purpose is to make a real and lasting difference for everyone we support.

The Private Enquiry Manager will act as the first point of contact for all private healthcare enquiries at a hospital level, driving improvements in customer service and ensuring a clean private enquiry process in liaison with the Customer Service Centre.

You will take ownership for the progression of all private enquiries at the hospital within an agreed timescale, including owning patient communication regarding initial appointment/assessment booking.

Maintain close and constructive working relationships with the local site teams as an integrated member of the local team, including day to day close working with the Hospital Director, and weekly reporting of metrics to the Hospital and Regional Directors.

You will have strong, evidenced understanding of private mental healthcare, and knowledge of effective approaches to dealing with highly emotive patient enquiries and dealing with challenging situations related to accessing mental health treatments, including referral and appointment booking channels

The role will be predominantly office-based on a hospital site. Regular telephone (and some face-to- face) contact with potential patients and their families.
