Job Advert Location Description

In this role as Ward Manager you will provide Clinical Management and Leadership of the full nursing team on the Ward, this includes being a highly visible role model and mentor to the nursing team. You will have responsibility for overseeing and maintaining the highest standards of nursing care. You will act as a senior clinical member of the team, providing advice and support from a nursing perspective and oversee and hold responsibility for the ward environment and its resources.

The ward manager will be able to provide nursing expertise and experience within the CAMHs ward. They will be responsible for the direct provision of high quality nursing care, safer staffing ensuring that service users receive safe and timely support when they need it most & the development of staff. They will act as a role model for the wider nursing team and exemplify best practice all times. Understanding of management of CAMHs service is required for this role of a 12 bedded tier 4 NHSE service.
