Priory Hospital, Altrincham are looking for a Hospital Director for Private inpatient mental health and addiction rehab hospital, in the Altrincham, Cheshire area (WA15) – Salary up to £75,000,


Priory Hospital Altrincham is a 56 Bed an inpatient Private Mental Health and addiction rehab hospital, providing expert treatment for a range of mental health challenges, including treatment for depression, as well as drug and alcohol addiction treatment. We also provide outpatient therapy for adults and young people struggling with an eating disorder.


Set within a beautifully-appointed manor house, Priory Hospital Altrincham is located in a tranquil Cheshire setting. We provide a peaceful and homely feel, offering the perfect environment for adults and young people to receive specialist support.


Our beautiful greenfield site and welcoming hospital environment help our patients on their road to recovery. Our stunning building comprises single-occupancy bedrooms with en-suite facilities, providing the utmost privacy and comfort for our patients.


What you need


We are looking for hospital director, ideally with a clinical. Due to the size and stability of the hospital, we will consider people looking to step up so this could be your next challenge in your career.


As this is a clinical environment, someone with a clinical background would be great, but this is not essential. As long as you have experience in a similar senior role and have background in the below areas, we would like to hear from you.


  • Approved post graduate degree.
  • Extensive experience working at a senior level; preferably within a similar setting.
  • Seasoned leader, with operational and financial planning experience.
  • Experience of commercial accountability for cost control and financial performance.
  • Experience of making informed decisions sometimes in difficult circumstances.
  • Experience of leading a diverse team.
  • Extensive managerial & leadership experience with a thorough understanding of developing services for healthcare.
  • Strong track record of innovation and making changes to the operation to further improve the work environment and site performance.
