Job Advert Role Description

We are currently looking for a Team Leader to join our team at Ebbsfleet House in Ramsgate! 

Ebbsfleet House is a specialist service that provides assessment and a range of high quality, specialist services to 5 people with autism and/or learning disabilities, who may at times present severely challenging behaviour.

As a Team Leader you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our residents. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both residents and their families and staff, you will be supporting residents in the planning of goals and in living as independently as possible.

Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital. As a Team Leader you will also be required to lead a team on a day to basis and support with some managerial tasks. 

Previous experience of working with adults with behaviours that challenge and autism would be a benefit for this position.

Our ideal Team leader will:

• Be reliable, friendly and caring to help our service users achieve their everyday goals (including personal care)
• Be able to support in house activities and hobbies
• Be attentive and inspire our service users and staff team to achieve more!
• Be resilient and help manage some behaviours that challenge
• Hold a full driving licence for 3 years or over
