Job Advert Role Description

We are currently looking for a Team Leader at our Hamilton House adult residential home. Do you believe that everyone is entitled to the very best care and support?

We do and we are passionate about providing excellent care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism or mental health conditions. As a Team Leader, you will work under guidance of service manager and be responsible for leading and managing small team of dedicated care staff to enable the service to deliver best quality of care to people living at Hamilton House.

As part of your duties you will be supporting people who live at Hamilton House with their day to day lives, encouraging them to live as independently as possible, supporting their leisure activities in the service and in their local community.

Our ideal Team Leader will:

• Lead a team of Support Workers
• Be reliable, friendly and caring to help our residents achieve their everyday goals
• Be able to support in house activities and hobbies
• Be attentive and inspire our residents to achieve more!
• Be resilient and help manage some behaviours that challenge
• Be a team player

Whilst drivers are able to take residents out and about, you don’t need to be a driver to work here – we employ many non-drivers too!
