Pelham Woods is an inpatient rehabilitation service which is well placed to serve the south east of England and provides for the needs of women who have complex mental health problems, personality difficulties and in some instances, a history of challenging behaviour.

The hospital is set in picturesque grounds overlooking the Surrey Hills and has extensive facilities including onsite Gym, Purpose Built Bake off Kitchen as well as Occupational and Educational Facilities.

Pelham Woods is a motivated, devoted, nurse led service which is dynamic in therapies. As a member of the team at Pelham Woods you will be encouraged to let your creative side flow, positively contributing to the sites success. You will also have free access to the onsite gym facilities.

As Catering Assistant you will help plan, prep and cook meals taking into account any special dietary requirements within the unit. 

 

You will report to the Facilities Lead.

 

To be successful in this role you will need:-

 

Essential:-

- General understanding of Health and Safety

- The ability to work as part of a team

- Basic computer skills

- Customer and Patient focused

- Experience working within a professional Kitchen environment

 

 

Desirable:-

- Experience working in a Mental health environment
