Job Advert Role Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR & Resourcing Coordinator working at Priory Hospital Barnt Green. 

Reporting to the Hospital Director, you will provide guidance and support to local senior management team on the interpretation and implementation of Priory’s Human Resources procedures and ensures consistent employment practice at the site. Accountable for Recruitment and Site Learning processes at site and coordinates the activity of the local site HR.

Working closely with site leadership, you will help define and develop avenues and methods of attracting candidates of the highest quality, ensuring site is effectively utilising, engaging candidates and offering posts in line with the agreed service level agreements and cost effective manner. Ensuring recruitment processes adhered to, in line with business and legislative requirements. Organise and facilitate recruitment Assessment Centres and job fair events.

In this role you will also

  • Monitor, with the site managers and leader’s absence levels and support the implementation of the absence policy.
  • Supporting the Regional HRA & HRBP in shaping and driving through development programmes to build local capability.

Knowledge / Education / Skills

The post holder will require strong communication and relationship building skills, good attention to detail, driving forward projects and executing change on time, within agreed budgets.


The role holder will have demonstrable previous experience working within HR in a commercial environment, in a generalist or in a specialist role. Ideally in the private healthcare sector. With the capability to manage their own workload and prioritise.


The role holder requires a developed and well-practiced range of communication skills as they will frequently need to address emotive and sensitive situations involving staff and managers from all levels at site. Effective interviewing, negotiation, report writing, presentation and counselling skills are key to the successful performance of the role.

The successful candidate will need to be highly organised individual with sound interpersonal and excellent communication skills. You will be the first line of contact for the HR department so you must be professional and courteous at all times.

Must have relevant experience in working in an administrative environment including recruitment, plus the capability to manage their own workload and prioritise.
