Job Advert Role Description

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Children's Support Worker for our 7 Bed, Transitional Recovery Service for males and females aged between 13 to 18+ years with complex mental health and risk taking behaviours. 

 

Newcombe Lodge provides a unique package of care and support 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, for some of the most vulnerable Children and Young People age 13 - 18 in our care system. Our aim here at Newcombe Lodge is to ensure that the Children and Young People we invest in have the best residential experience in a homely environment. Care here is individually tailored and we aim to make the experience as positive and beneficial as possible. We work hard to meet individual needs and truly invest in our Children and Young People’s future, just like Davids Story below. 

 

You will be responsible for the supervision of Children and Young people who display a range of emotional, behavioural, psychological and other mental health problems. There are full and part time roles available.

 

This role is also referred to as;

  • Healthcare Assistant ( HCA )
  • Recovery Worker
  • Residential Support Worker (RSW)

Newcombe Lodge is a large detached house in the village of Bussage, in Gloucestershire. Bussage has easy access to both the M4 and M5 motorways and the town offers good local facilities as well as easy access to the beautiful Stroud Valleys and Cotswolds.
