Job Advert Role Description

The Priory Highbank Centre provides specialist care and rehabilitation for adults and children who have sustained a brain injury, including ventilator dependent, and is part of the Priory.  The Centre is dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of adults and children through close interdisciplinary team working.

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Occupational Therapist to work closely within the Inter-disciplnary Team (IDT).  Your principle responsibility will inlcude undertaking specialist assessments and planning appropriate interventions, along with supporting the Clinical Specialist to develop the Occupational Therapy service at the site. 

We require sound specialist knowledge and skills and for you to be registered with the HCPC.  You will have experience of working with people with complex neuro disability.  An experience of implementing programmes for patients with Neurological conditions is considered essential alongside upper limb splinting experience. Knowledge and experience of working with patients with PDOC (persistent disorders of consciousness patients) an advantage.
