About Us:

The Priory Hospital Hayes Grove is a private 46-bed acute psychiatric hospital for adults, located on the edge of London in Hayes, Kent. The hospital provides care and treatment for patients with a wide range of mental health issues both as inpatients and day patients. Hayes Grove specialises in providing care for patients with acute mental health conditions, addiction issues - both drug and alcohol, and also has a specialist Eating Disorders unit. The hospital is situated close to excellent transport links to central London, Croydon, and Bromley areas and parking is available locally.

Outline of the Role:

We are looking for a fully accredited BABCP CBT Therapist to support the delivery of our acute mental health inpatient and outpatient group therapy programmes and to deliver individual therapy to both outpatients and inpatients admitted to this service.

This is a permanent part-time position for which the successful candidate will have at least three years post qualification experience of working with a range of adult mental health issues.

The role will involve the facilitation of specialist psycho-educational and relapse prevention therapy groups, individual sessions, and the completion of assessments and treatment plans for a range of patients.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with a range of adult mental health issues, ideally with CBT, CBT-e, or DBT, or EMDR skills. Candidates who are accredited in EMDR and trained in the G-TEP technique would be desirable. 

The successful candidate will be required to complete 60% of their contracted hours as clinical face-to-face hours.

Full BACBP accreditation is required for this role.

Our service is based on a strong, friendly multidisciplinary team, with an emphasis on supporting our staff through regular supervision, staff support groups, and annual appraisals. Good communication skills and a flexible approach are essential.
