Job Advert Role Description

We're recruiting for 2 Occupational Therapist, 1 on a Full time permanent basis and 1 maternity cover.

Priory Hospital Arnold, near Nottingham, provides acute and psychiatric intensive care services to those in need across Nottinghamshire. We work closely with referring Trusts to achieve minimum lengths of stay, and are able to provide an extension to NHS care pathways during times of fluctuating demand. The service offers a multidisciplinary team approach, working collaboratively to support patients through periods of crisis.

We are looking to recruit an Occupational Therapist to join the OT team at Priory Hospital Arnold.

As an Occupational Therapist you will be working across our Acute and PICU services within the Hospital. You will be expected to work autonomously, as well as part of a team to provide high quality and patient centred care.

Your role as the Occupational Therapist will be to provide a high quality assessment and treatment programme for the patients that you work with in line with their needs and strengths in a recovery focused manner, whilst also keeping the patient safe.

The OT team is part of the wider Therapies Team at the hospital with a variety of disciplines.  We provide regular clinical and management supervision and support and we also offer in-service training.

Good time management, motivation, and interpersonal skills are required alongside an appropriate professional Occupational Therapy degree.
