In last 14 months we have invested heavily in Priory Hospital Norwich in order to revitalise our service and ensure that we put our patients at the centre of everything we do. We are currently in the process of a phased opening and are looking for candidates who are committed to being a part of our long term journey. The hospital focuses on adult acute services, and currently has one male and one female wards open, with a new female acute ward opening soon and potential for additional future wards. The aim of the hospital is to offer a high standard of patient centred care at all times whilst promoting a supportive and enjoyable work environment. Due to the 24 hour nature of the unit, our nurses benefit from 24 hour medical and management cover in order to support the team on the ward to offer consistently high quality care at all times.

The postholder will be able to provide nursing expertise and experience within the ward. They will be responsible for the direct provision of high quality nursing care, ensuring that service users receive safe and timely support when they need it most. They will act as a role model for the wider nursing team and exemplify best practice all times.

Post holder should have 3 years minimum experience within a relevant clinical setting Multi-disciplinary/multi agency working experience in a management or clinical leadership role. Negotiating and working across organisational boundaries Clinical Leadership. Evidence of having led on service development projects.

As a Lead Nurse you will be working in ward areas providing a 7 day a week service with the requirement to work standard nursing shifts, providing rota cover for clinical duties and site leadership out of hours.
