Job Advert Role Description

The Priory Highbank Centre in Bury is looking for a Senior Physiotherapist – Salary up to £36.000 depending on experience.

 

Located in spacious grounds just outside Bury, Lancashire, Priory Highbank Centre offers excellent care and support allowing the greatest opportunity for patients to regain their maximum capabilities.

 

We provide specialist care and rehabilitation for adults and children who have sustained a brain injury, including ventilator dependent.  The centre is dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of adults and children through close interdisciplinary team working. The site also provides Rehabilitation and Recovery mental health services.

 

We are looking for an experiences Senior Physiotherapist to join the team. You will manage your own caseload, co-operate with other therapists and supervise Therapy Assistants to organise, prioritise and deliver therapy to meet patients’ clinical needs

 

To apply, you must have the following;

 

  • Physiotherapy Degree (Bsc/Msc), being HCPC Registered
  • Be a full member of CSP and have evidence of CPD.
  • Ideally 3 years of neurological rehabilitation experience however new graduates looking to start their career in neurology will be considered.
  • experience of subjective and objective neurological assessments and advanced clinically reasoned individualised treatments for patients with complex presentations physically and with communication and cognition deficits
  • Ability to use relevant outcome measures and evaluation of treatments alongside current evidence based practice.
  • be capable of working collaboratively with a wider clinical team and have knowledge of other disciplines and their role
