Home Manager/ Registered Home Manager/ Registered Manager

Priory Adult care is looking to recruit an experienced Home Manager (Nurse Registered) for our older people’s service based in Bradford. The home offers a modern and supportive environment with en-suite bedrooms and comfortable lounge areas. Our dedicated team ensure we meet the resident’s individual care and social needs. The home is designed to meet the needs of older people with comfortable lounges and dining areas. Set in a residential area of Cooper Lane in Bradford, the home provides residents with a peaceful rural environment. There is an enclosed garden where residents can relax and socialise.

About the job/role

As registered manager it will be your responsibility to effectively manage the full, day to day operations of the home as a business, ensuring the best possible care can be provided for our service users/residents. 

  • Ensuring delivery of effective quality care to the people we support, helping residents to grow in self-worth and where possible independently, enhancing overall quality of life.
  • Manage and maximise occupancy, by building a positive local reputation and through creative marketing strategies
  • Comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements, meeting and exceeding care standards, taking accountability for the home striving for excellence, high ratings, and quality recognition within the local community
  • Positive management of staff including HR/supervisions/appraisal/staff training/ acknowledging and utilising staff potential (with the support of central service teams)
  • Maintaining financial efficiency and budgets for the home

We require a highly motivated and experienced leader who has the drive and passion to deliver excellent care and support. You will have significant knowledge of the Northern Ireland regulatory framework we work within. Putting your own positive stamp on the home and the business. To be considered for the role, you must be nurse registered holding a current NMC pin registration and have experience within a similar role.
