Job Advert Role Description

We are seeking an Activity Co-ordinator for 11.5hrs per week over Saturday & Sunday to work within our inpatient Eating Disorder Unit at The Priory Hospital Glasgow.  The role involves working one day per week on a Saturday to plan and deliver group activities and outings for patients.  An ability to work well with colleagues as well as on your own initiative is essential.  This role is suited to candidates with a mature, calm personality who can demonstrate practical common sense while delivering engaging activities.  Applicants with experience working within eating disorders are welcomed, but this is not essential.

 

The role demands excellent communication, planning and organising skills, and the ability to apply understanding of policies, procedures and boundaries in order to manage risk.

 

The successful candidates will be required to apply for PVG Scheme Membership from Disclosure Scotland.  Further information can be obtained from www.disclosurescotland.co.uk
