Job Advert Role Description

In this role you will be required to deliver an efficient and high quality front of house and Reception/Administration service within Burston House to assist the well-being and development of patients, as well as relatives, suppliers, staff and any other visitors.

 

Duties would include:

  • Greets and assists all arrivals promptly at Burston House, and ensures that they are treated in a courteous, pleasant and efficient manner, and directed accordingly.
     
  • Ensures that all telephone calls into main reception / switchboard are dealt with promptly and efficiently within Priory operational standards. Handles external and internal enquiries, recognising the level of importance of particular enquiries or issues and applying the appropriate prioritisation.
     
  • Ensures the appropriate security passes are issued, as well as then directing the visitor to the appropriate areas or individuals within the unit.
     
  • Ensures the maintenance of the reception and waiting area environments to high standards, ensuring that any housekeeping or maintenance issues are reported to the appropriate teams.
     
  • Assist Administrator in providing efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to the hospital. including document and report production, telephone enquiries, diary management, payroll input meeting and greeting visitors and other administrative tasks as appropriate.
     
  • Ensures that all information and documentation is correctly processed in line with policies and procedures in order that regulatory, statutory, compliance and financial requirements are met. Maintains the audit trail ensuring up to date and accurate information can be provided or accessed as required.
     
  • Assists in updating staff and resident records and central and local database systems, ensuring accuracy of all data input.
     
  • Ensures the effective operation of delegated administrative processes and procedures
