Job Advert Location Description

As a Maintenance Assistant your primary duty will be to ensure that our residents live in a home that is a safe environment for them that adheres to health and safety standards. You will need to work closely with the home manager to ensure that all fixtures and fittings are in excellent condition and equipment is regularly serviced. This role is to cover 3 sites and below are the sites and how the hours will be split.

  • 16 hours at Julians House - SG1 3ES

  • 16 hours at Rose Court - LU2 7EL

  • 8 hours at Georgina House - LU3 1BD

Job Advert Role Description

Main duties will be to:

  • Ensuring the home is maintained as a safe and secure place to live for the residents.
  • Maintaining the home and grounds to ensure they are in excellent condition at all times.
  • Work closely with the home managers on long term maintenance plans
  • Check and repair fixtures and fittings that may include lighting and heating
